Here’s the deal: digital FX guys need something to base a lot of their work on. (Same way it’s easier to modify a picture in photoshop then try to draw it by hand.) Photographers then are needed to create hiRes digital panoramics of scenes that the FX guys will later use to create movies, like Speed Racer.
